happy father's day!

  • Katie, your last game of the spring league was today.  You finally received your silver medals from the regular season.  Good job kid!  I'm so proud of you
  • We all went to the soccer game to give daddy some time alone.  Jane, you took the babies on a long walk at Shoreline Park.  It was a very Vancouver day.  Gray and foggy and wet.  When you came back to the soccer field, all three of you were soaking wet, muddy...and extremely happy.  You had removed your shoes and rolled your pants up and played in the mud
  • After the game we went to Auntie Georgia's for tea.  Her sister Janice is visiting from Yellowknife.  We had such a nice visit.  Katie, you said that it feels like we've always known her
  • Because you guys were all wet and muddy from your walk, you showed up to Auntie Georgia's with no pants and no shoes.  Never a dull moment around here
  • We took some Father's Day photos...in the garage, of course.  You guys are so silly.  And you're also lucky to have a daddy who loves you so much
