lila's classroom
- Jane, you wore makeup to school for the first time today. You looked beautiful. You did a really great job. I was surprised that you consented to photos in the school parking lot, but I'm super happy you did.
- George, you're so darn cute. Sometimes I can't even handle it. Those dimples of yours are killer.
- Lila, you're having a really hard time with school. Last night as I tucked you into bed, you sobbed and sobbed because you didn't want to go. You finally told me that the days take too long and you miss me too much...and your tummy is always rumbling. Today I packed extra snacks for you and talked to your teacher. I picked Jane up early from her school and we came to visit you. I've been thinking that maybe if we bring a little bit of home to your classroom, it won't seem so separate for you. You sat down with Jane and built a big long train with Duplo and played for quite a while. I really hope you start to feel comfortable and happy at school because it was really hard to see you so upset.
- Lila, you're still obsessed with climbing the tetherball pole. You can reach the top now! That didn't take long!
- Katie, I had a doctor's appointment this afternoon and I couldn't bring George to it, so you offered to come home and babysit. I picked you up at noon. You made him lunch then put him down for a nap. You're so good to the babies.
- Jane, you're obsessed with making slime from glue, borax and water (Plus other random ingredients). The babies love to watch you. They think you're pure magic.
- The sunset was beautiful tonight. I almost missed it, but daddy told me about it. I started playing Candy Crush and I'm embarrassed to admit how much I enjoy playing it. I always thought it was such a stupid game, but now that I've started, I can't seem to stop.
