package from grandma
The sunrise was dramatic this morning. A slice of golden sun between the hills and heavy clouds.
George and Lila, on our walk to school, I asked for a picture in front of the prettiest tree in our neighborhood. You guys both made piggy noses and then laughed and laughed at your wit. You’re so silly.
I got a ton of work done today. I sat at the computer so long, my legs are stiff and my neck hurts. Getting old is so weird. I’m happy to be caught up on the blog, even though my last few posts were kind of skimpy on details as my memory is so terrible.
George, you got a notice of a package, so we went after school to pick it up at the post office. You were so excited. It was your birthday presents from grandma Esther. A book, a watch and some building toys. You LOVE the watch. I’m going to have to figure out a way to teach you how to read time.
Jane you made dinner tonight. Penne alfredo (from scratch) and chicken parmesan. Delicious!
Daddy had parent/teacher interviews tonight and didn’t come home until late. It’s weird not having him here.
Jane, your parent/teacher interviews were tonight as well. I went by myself and met all of your teachers. iHub is such an interesting school. All your teachers said you’re doing really well and they’re super happy to have you there. It was great to hear. You seem really happy, so I’m very grateful for that.
Katie, you’re in the middle of a hockey unit in PE. You’re really enjoying it…much to your surprise! It’s music to daddy’s ears.
