• Lila, I love your socks and flip flops. 
• Grandpa came with us on our morning routine.  Sometimes I don't realize the absurdity of our mornings until I stop to look at it through someone else's eyes.  It's pretty hectic.
• George, you love those little Ritz cracker sandwiches with "cheese."  But you do the weirdest thing with them.  You separate them and make a cheese ball.  Then you cram the whole cheese ball in your mouth after you nibble gingerly on the crackers.  
• Lila, you had a field trip to do martial arts.  You were on fire.  You kicked and punched and hi-ya'd your way through the whole thing.  A lot of the girls were a little timid and scared to give it their all.  Afterward, you told me, "I'm not little and cute, but I'm strong and brave."  I love that you see yourself as strong and brave because you certainly are!
