kindergarten blues

• Lila, you were not happy about having to go to school this morning.  The three day weekend kind of threw you off because you got used to being at home.  I decided to pick you up just before lunch today.  Last night as you were crying and telling me you didn't want to go to school, you told me that you don't like it when the kids run when lunch is over.  I asked why, but you couldn't articulate it...you just don't like it.
• Jane and Katie, after school I'm usually in the kitchen with my music on making dinner.  I love how you all gather in there and talk about your day and sing/dance to the music.  Sometimes I wish we had a bigger place, but honestly, I don't think it would matter because you guys just like to be wherever I am, whether that be the kitchen or my bedroom.  I love it.  
• George, you were itching to get outside after dinner so we went and played in the walkway that leads up to Mariner.  You guys "climbed the mountain" and laughed and laughed...until Lila peed her pants from laughing so hard...which made you both laugh even more.  Oh my gosh.  You two are so silly.
• George, you love to use my keys to open up the doors for us.  You're still pretty slow at it, but you're determined, so we all just stand and patiently wait for you.
• Katie, I think your teeth are already moving.  They look different to me.  It's only been a couple weeks, but I swear I see a change.
