garden harvest
- Lila, grandma invited you out to the garden to harvest green onions for the salad. When she asked you, you jumped up and clapped your little hands together. You love plants so much. You must have inherited it from grandma, because I can't grow things at all.
- I worked on stripping the desk for a long time today. It's coming along, but it's pretty tedious work. There are some small shelves in the inside that were painted and I think it's going to be too tricky to strip them, so I'll just paint them white. Lila, I think I'm going to give you the desk. I can imagine you would love to have a little space to create on your own where you can organize and hoard your art supplies.
- Uncle Dan and Auntie Becca surprised grandma and grandpa with a new dishwasher! Their dishwasher has been on the fritz for a while now. Your auntie and uncle are so generous. Watch and learn from them. They've been blessed, and they pass the blessings on. It's lovely.
- Jane and Katie, again, we didn't see you much today. You and Val and James are super happy doing whatever you do down in the big room in the basement. It's nice that you guys get along so well.
- Jane, you're negotiating a price with grandma for her laptop. It's too small for her, and you need a laptop for school in the fall. I hope you can work something out! You're starting to realize the value of buying things used, and that sometimes good enough is just fine until you can save up for what you really want.
