10 years
- My camera club met tonight to shoot a Trash the Dress session. Our volunteer models were Courtney's friends. It was their 10th anniversary and they wanted to celebrate with photos of the two of them and their boys. We went to Blackie Spit in White Rock. It was kind of perfect. The smoke had just started to roll in, which isn't great for the health, but lovely for photos. The sky was a beautiful soft pink/orange pastel color.
- It's hard for me to run a meeting, help everyone and shoot photos at the same time. I ended up not taking many pictures, which was a little disappointing for me because it was so very pretty and so many photos I could see in my mind but didn't have the chance to make.
- My friend Anna brought a prism and a copper tube, so I played with those for a bit. So fun! And Kim brought her lensbaby set. I want to borrow the lensbaby set and experiment a little because I could feel my creative juices starting to flow when I finally started to figure them out.
- We went to the pier when it got dark and tried some sparkler shots until the rats and raccoons chased us away.
- It was a fun night. I know I say this every time, but I really love those ladies.
