van snuggles
- George, your second day of school was even better than your first. You rocked it. I peeked into the class and you were singing and dancing your heart out. So cute. You told me that tomorrow I can just drop you off on the sidewalk and you'll walk to your classroom by yourself. When I texted daddy to tell him that, his response was, "Are George and Lila even related?"
- Lila, your third day was marginally better than your second. You accepted the fact that you had to go to school again, and that there's only one more day after this until the weekend.
- Katie, you texted me to tell me you hurt your hamstring during PE, and asked for a ride home. You walked home one whole day until you asked me for a ride! Hahahaha. I hoped we might make it an entire week before you started asking for rides.
- Lila, you were so tired and cranky after school. We ended up having a looooooong snuggle in the van until your little heart had recovered a bit. Then you seemed to come alive and started chatting and making jokes and being silly for the rest of the evening. (Thanks for the pictures Katie!)
- Jane, you had a busy busy day. School until 3, then Stage Craft at Charles Best from 3:20 til 4:30, then work from 6:00 - 10:00. Phew. I hope you're able to find a good balance between school and work and life.
- Lila, you've already made a reservation with me for tomorrow evening to hang out. You want to eat popcorn and watch a movie and have something special to drink. You're so delighted with the big secret we have to keep from Georgie, and look at me with a sparkle in your eye, barely suppressing your giggles when ever I see you.
