- It was family shopping day today. Jane, you were working, so you couldn't join us. I know you were super disappointed (sarcasm font.) We all headed down to Costco with a huge list of ingredients needed for the meals you guys have planned.
- Lila, while we were shopping you were complaining that you were so cold. I felt your forehead and you were burning up! Poor girl. You didn't even want to eat you favorite food...fries and gravy. When we got home, you laid down on my bed and slept for a couple hours.
- George, you and Katie were best buddies at Costco. You sat on her lap and shared poutine. You were cracking her up...she could barely breath at one point because you were being so silly about farting or something.
- Jane, you made chicken coconut curry for us tonight. It was terrific, but you were disappointed because you burnt the sauce a little. I think you're having a bit of a rough day, and that didn't help things. But we all still loved it. You said today was the first day you didn't really feel like cooking. It's too hot and you're tired and a little crabby.
- Auntie Georgia was supposed to come over for dinner and a movie. We still haven't finished A Series of Unfortunate Events, but we had to cancel because we Flubery's don't want to share our germs with the Abbott/Title household (right Ben?)
- Jane, you're working on a new project. You're drawing Kayla (your OC) in an outfit from each decade starting with 1900 to present day. You've completed your research and sketches and are now working on the finished drawings. Such a great little project!
- Katie, you've been reading up a storm. You were so pleased with yourself because you found the entire hardcover Divergent series and bought them for only $18. Your new favorite spot is the chair in the corner of the deck. Tonight I looked out there and saw you reading with the patio lights, under the blood moon (that little fuzzy ball above your head.) What a lovely sight.
- It's really hot today. I think I may even be getting used to it a bit. I'm a little less cranky. Just as sweaty, but not as grouchy.
